A DAY IN THE LIFE Works on Innovation initiatives by leading design and implementation efforts for new and emerging technologies and ideas. The candidate must be passionate about and comfortable with change and have the courage to try and fail. Responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, engineering firms, processes, and standards to ensure the company achieves reliable, quality and safe pilot projects. Leads the multi-scope design/pilot project process through IFC design, project commissioning, and completing post-project evaluations. Manages 3rd party engineering firms, working with Blattner Energy Internal Engineering, and being the project lead in all aspect of project design/implementation. Aligns and works with the construction team to ensure they have necessary design information and parameters to build the work. Including supporting the project design by ensuring design meets the contractual, technical, safety, and quality requirement from Client, Company and Industry Specifications and Standards. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management or power plant construction experience. Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a relevant industry.
