This role is 100% in person, 40 hours/week

The Administrative Clinical Coordinator in the NICU supervises, performs, and oversees the administrative functions of the unit, including preparing and monitoring the unit's operating and capital budgets, maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, and developing and implementing administrative procedures and systems. They are responsible for selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating the work of support staff. Additionally, the Coordinator provides administrative support to the Director.

The Administrative Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing, performing, and supervising the administrative functions of the unit.
  • Preparing and managing the unit's operating and capital budgets.
  • Supervising 20-30 clerical staff
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Developing and implementing administrative procedures and systems for the unit.
  • Selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating support service personnel.
  • Providing administrative support to the Director.

To qualify, you must have:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelors preferred
  • 2-3 years of Healthcare admin experience (ideally Managerial experience)
  • Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
  • Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well developed writing skills
