Why do we need you ?

As a CAPEX & FMH Buyer VIE, you will be located at the North America Headquarters. You'll have the opportunity to interact with key stakeholders while being responsible for supporting daily transactional duties of the Materials Handling Equipment (MHE), Heavy Duty Equipment (HDE), and the Auto Fleet Programs reporting to the Category Manager of FMH. You'll also report to the Director of CAPEX purchasing and support capital projects across North America.

This role covers all businesses across North America, focusing on the acquisition and management of production/CAPEX equipment and vehicles for our sales teams, including maintenance, spare parts, and other services.

The main role:

As a VIE, you will support the day-to-day operations and manage projects across the four following categories:



  • Auto Fleet
  • Material Handling
  • Heavy Duty Equipment's
  • CAPEX


Therefore, your missions will include:



  • Managing projects for CertainTeed and HPS Business Units (Capex & FMH);
  • Processing Bids and requests for quotes;
  • Communicating with business unit site stakeholders & suppliers;
  • Handling the analysis of proposals and bids to assure compliance;
  • Writing & submitting CAPEX+ submissions for the business units;
  • Generating Framework Purchase Requisitions for the Business Units.



Work across more than 10 Businesses, learn about diverse products and manufacturing processes, travel to some of our 200+ Manufacturing facilities and work with our Project Managers on site and from our HQ in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Extra information:

This is a 18-month mission, non-extendable.

Some days are allowed for work from home - this is according to the HR and VIE policy.

  • You hold a Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or any other related fields
  • You have a first experience in Negotiating Commercial and Legal Terms
  • Some exposure to Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management or Project Management would be a plus
  • You are energetic, open-minded & resilient, and ready to join a very dynamic team and environment
  • You're comfortable with communicating with various stakeholders and levels within the organization
  • The knowledge of Excel (pivot table, basic data analysis, etc.), PowerPoint, PowerBI or ClickView would be nice to have
  • You can easily communicate in both French and English languages; Basic knowledge of Spanish would be considered as an asset.

A team ready to welcome you

Working closely with the VP Purchasing - Central Capex and the CAPEX Category Manager, you'll interact with Project Managers from the USA and Canada, warehouse Managers, maintenance Managers as well as other various stakeholders and internal clients. Externally, you'll be in touch with OEMs, banks and leasing vendors.

Steps to join us
