Job Description:

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary oncology team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to oncology patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art facility.

Location: Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, DC

Department: Oncology

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days

The Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate care to patients requiring palliative care services, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Nurse Practitioner practices within the guidelines of the unit department, and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner - Physician Written Agreement required and approved by Washington DC governance.

Qualifications:

• MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN and CRNP license are required
• Current certifications as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (or Adult/Gerontologic)
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
• The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of acute care RN work experience. Oncology care experience strongly preferred.
• NP work experience preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 57.99 per hour - Maximum 89.88 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
