Manager, Platform Quality Assurance

Location: Remote, USA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $120,000-$145,000 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

Manager, Platform Quality Assurance has a strong background in Microsoft technologies and an ability to work as a key member in a platform engineering team for a rapidly growing company. Our company provides Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software for large corporations. Our product is designed for high-end deployments at customer facilities or in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The core engine contains complex OLAP, multi-dimensional, multi-server, multi-threading, web, and SQL technologies and is specifically designed to solve problems for the Office of Finance at extremely large corporations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Project Management



  • Provides input around quality assurance project plans that include clear staffing, resource and effort requirements, risks, quality objectives, timelines, and budget estimates.
  • Provide oversight for all phases of quality assurance procedures.
  • Oversee the project status reporting process.
  • Monitor quality assurance projects to ensure adherence to established objectives, timelines, and budget limits.
  • Ability and willingness to perform hands-on, quality assurance tasks in very limited capacity.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or IT-related field.
  • 3-5 years quality assurance experience, preferably in Financial Applications.
  • Experience establishing and leading quality assurance groups/departments/teams, while implementing effective quality assurance strategies and best practices.
  • Proven experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies.
  • Enterprise software experience, Cloud or SaaS providers, or web application providers is key.
  • Experience with software testing in a manual and automation QA environment.
  • Recent Microsoft technology focus.
  • Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, SQL Server, Quality Center, Load Runner, Selenium or similar tools.
  • EPM/CPM Knowledge or financial background.
  • OLAP and multidimensionality.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience with Consolidation Software, such as:

    • OneStream XF.
    • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
    • SAP BOFC (Cartesis).
    • SAP Outlooksoft BPC.
    • IBM Cognos.
    • Tagetik.
    • Other EPM solutions.
