Post Doctoral Associate Med-Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - ( 24008594 ) The laboratory of Dr. Oliver Eickelberg and Dr. Marta Bueno Fernandez, in the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Careand Sleep Medicine is seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Associate. The candidate will study the B-cell populations in rejection after lung transplantation. Postdoctoral candidates with solid knowledge and strong skills in transplant research, cell biology, and molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Candidates with solid surgical skills are stronglyencouraged to apply. Successful applicants will hold a PhD in biology, cell biology, microbiology, immunology, or a closely related field is required. A successful applicant will have excellent general analytic skills and written communication skills. The work will be a mix of surgical work and an extensive amount of wet lab work in addition to analysis of complex data sets including immunophenotyping with flow cytometry. On-site work in the lab will be required 5 days per week for most of the funding period. Prior experience in ONE of the following content areas is preferred:
