Description

Participates in planning, implementation, management and evaluation of Clinical Laboratory Support Services activities in the Division of Laboratory Medicine in accordance with accepted national standards and administrative policies.

Qualifications Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree .

5 years .

Functional Accountabilities
Budget and Financial Analysis
  • Contributes to development and monitoring of operating and capital budgets
  • Assists Director in evaluating performance reports and budget variances and developing action plans
  • Implements actions to facilitate meeting budget requirements
Human Resources Management
  • In collaboration with Director, hires, trains, develops and directs assigned staff to meet departmental objectives
  • Provides timely coaching and performance feedback
  • Deploys staff appropriately to meet business objectives

  • Set and clearly communicate team goals and priorities in alignment with departmental goals and budgets
  • Develop the budget and assign resources to meet the team goals

  • Identify customers' needs and ensure service excellence in meeting those needs

  • Represent the team in clearing obstacles to high performance
  • Hire staff and develop their capabilities
  • Monitor and promote strong employee engagement
