Position Summary

Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures, conducts work simplifications and measurement studies and prepares operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Develops and assists in tracking metrics for business processes. Collects, documents, and maintains business requirements for technology and business process driven projects or tasks. Supports established relationships with business counter-parts and becomes a credible partner, who seeks to understand business issues. Creates benchmarks and insights based on analytic techniques to address issues and improve financial and operational performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Basic understanding of the Supply Chain cycle with a concentration in service contract development and an understanding of pricing and fees agreed to within a service contract
  • Ability to compare pricing and fees from a service contract to an invoice, research invoice and payment status within the system
  • Creates basic reports related to invoice payments and team workload
  • Develops process maps, Job aids and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Present and obtain feedback on reports from peers and management
  • Working with Business Unit stakeholders to walk thru process for contract management
  • Trains new hires or temporary staff on invoice processing
  • Actively provide feedback on Supply Chain forms and reports
  • Assists in planning and facilitating meetings and communications within assigned department
  • Communicates effectively in writing in response to internal and/or external customer correspondence
  • Provides reports to Business Unit on monthly accruals and any outstanding invoices
  • Sets priorities, organizes work and makes occasional exceptions
  • Makes recommendations and independent decisions
  • Works independently or as a member of a team, coordinating with others to achieve desired results
  • Completes routine assignments with minimal supervision

Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization.
Incumbent must set priorities, organize work and make occasional exceptions
Ability to multi-task various critical work assignments in a fast paced environment in a professional manner
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of personnel
Ability to meet goals and objectives with minimal direct supervision
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to make recommendations and independent decisions
Exceptionally strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Ability to interface with high levels of leadership.
Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships across levels and organizational lines of business.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Accounting, Finance or other quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or Economics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Visio, Teams, with basic programming abilities using Excel (pivot tables), Tableau or other program reporting software.

Working Environment
Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events in and outside of service area. After hours work may be required.
Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
