Job Summary:
|
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the substantial research output of the cardiac catheterization lab team and increase both the number an impact of the publications. This position is designed to develop the trainee's skills in grant writing, research ethics and administration, data collection and processing and production of scientific manuscripts Key Responsibilities:
- Writing grants
- Collecting data of existing and new research studies
- Analysis of data and production of manuscripts
- Support the cath lab team in existing bench and clinical research

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Doctorate degree
- Basic/Clinical research experience
Condition of Employment:
- Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

If drug testing is required, it will be listed in the job posting. Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/DO) +/- pediatric cardiology fellowship training
- Basic/Clinical Research experience that includes writing research protocols, writing manuscripts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Writes in a clear, concise, organized manner the intended research
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
- Able to work co-operatively with others and be part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $61,092 - $70,000. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
