DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to support the Naval Branch Health Clinic Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Medicine, or School of Infantry West
  • 1 Year of experience with a professional, collegiate athletic team, or with military personnel within the last 3 years
  • US Citizen
  • NACI background check


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Participate in various Marine Corps physical training activities (conditioning hikes, obstacle courses, calisthenics, etc.)
  • Practice aseptic techniques as necessary, and comply with infection control guidelines to include the proper handling, storage, and disposal of infectious wastes, and the use of universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection
  • Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events
  • Perform timely, accurate, and concise documentation of patient care, and injury tracking programs
  • Exercise appropriate delegation of tasks and duties in the direction and coordination of health care team members, patient care, and clinic activities
  • Attend regular meetings to remain cognizant of the unit's training schedule
