Material Handler I for our client located in Round Rock, TX
Pay rate is $19.50 hr.
Shift: 1st shift Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Materials Handler II Position
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.
* Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles
* Examine receiving documents for storage destination
* Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping area
* Document information relating to receipt, storage, or distribution of materials
* Package materials
* Perform cycle counts
* Use computers system to locate material
* Work with direct supervision
* Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Multi-tasking is essential to the MH position
* Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts
* Completing daily tasked quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality standards
Job Requirements
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of materials or related work experience
  • Cycle count, inventory exp.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Knowledge of basic packing and shipping techniques
* Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
* Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to materials handling
* Good math skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Basic knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems

Education, Certifications and Experience
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* 1-2+ years materials or related work experience required
* Valid driver's license as required
