Overview:

We are seeking a talented, design-sensitive, and ambitious Medical Planner to join our Milwaukee Healthcare architecture team and shape the future of sustainable design! In this role, you will be integral to our project teams in all stages of design. Our practice works on a wide variety of project types and scales, so versatility to adapt to a variety of collaborative design team settings is necessary.



In this role you will:

    Possess ability and expertise to program and plan healthcare facilities and collaborate with Sr Medical Planners and other team members
  1. Work with Sr Medical Planner in the development and analysis of the client's building program to clearly communicate with the project team for all project phases
  2. Demonstrate credible knowledge of current healthcare planning and programming
  3. Possess understanding of the healthcare industry, especially in areas of clinical innovation, operational improvement, planning and strategic positioning for complex hospital systems is needed
  4. Conduct research and analysis of space utilization, determine space requirements for expanding, and create solutions to meet evolving needs
  5. Work closely with the team to implement design concepts through project completion


You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture
  • 5-10 years of mid- to large healthcare project experience and medical planning
  • Proficiency in Revit required; Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and other graphic tools desired as well as familiarity with Project Manager software and Microsoft Office products is needed
  • Experience with LEED and evidence-based design a plus
  • LEED accreditation preferred


Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $83,200 - 120,800.
