Research Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned research experiments

• Responsible for laboratory maintenance duties

• Organize and tabulate experimental data in laboratory notebooks and enters the information in the computer.

• Complete independent research projects leading to publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

• Maintain and care for laboratory animals.

• Work with new employees and volunteers to orient, train and assess skills.

• Participate in 10 hours of project related educational activities per annum in a self-directed manner. This may include reading journal articles, viewing on-line webinars or participating in other self-directed continuing education activities.

What's Available:

• Full Time, 40 hours a week

• 8 hour shifts, 7:00am-5:00pm

• Starting pay of $20.79/hr and up, based on your years of experience

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred
