Solutions Architect - Cheshire, CT

Summary:

The Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of Lane. You will be responsible for designing comprehensive solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, developing technical design documents and roadmaps, and leading the implementation of these solutions. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to development and infrastructure teams, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

• Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain technical design documents, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Lead the implementation of solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and infrastructure teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Define and maintain best practices and standards for integration patterns.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
• Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values.
• And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Prior experience supporting an ERP platform.
• Strong SQL skillset (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified: Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
