Director of Engineering

Job Description:

The Director of Engineering (Facilities/Plant Maintenance) is responsible for directing the activities of Plant Engineering, Workplace Safety, & Biomedical Engineering for Baptist Health Floyd. The director has oversight responsibility for keeping the hospital orderly and attractive while providing a biologically safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsible for overseeing workplace safety and security activities, biomedical engineering activities, emergency management activities, and telecommunications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

• A minimum of four years experience in a facilities or plant maintenance leadership role.

• Must be familiar with regulatory agency requirements related to healthcare.

• Must have active driver's license.
