As a Sales Associate, Here's What You'll Do:



  • Prospect to identify leads that fit the Union Leasing ideal Customer Profile
  • Research leads for proposals
  • Attending trade shows and customer industry events to represent Union Leasing and make industry connections
  • Generate qualified opportunities, assisting in their progress through the sales cycle, and helping to generate new revenue
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure prospects experience a seamless transition from marketing to sales
  • Participation in ongoing sales training and coaching programs
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers with putting together materials for customer discovery meetings presentations
  • Assist the Regional Sales Managers with putting together customer information for credit review process with Finance & Accounting
  • Work hand in hand with the Customer Experience team and Regional Sales Managers to effectively onboard new customers


Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:



  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Preferably 2 - 3 years business/professional experience
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a high sense of urgency
  • Customer focus and strong skills for building relationships and collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Excel in fast-paced work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • A continuous learner who can quickly learn and apply new knowledge and skills
  • A self-starter that has the drive to grow
  • Able to work in a dynamic, agile, and growing sales team
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time


Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers, and fax machines.

Working Conditions

This position will be based out of our office in Oak Brook, Illinois. Until the Company moves to Oak Brook in early 2026, this will temporarily work out of the office in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role also offers remote work flexibility with 3 days in office, and 2 days remote.

Compensation/Benefits

The budgeted base salary for this role is $75,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on financial and personal performance throughout the plan year.

This role is classified as exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired is paid for the job and not by the hour, and will not be eligible for, and will not receive, overtime pay if working more than 40 hours in a workweek. This role will be paid on a semi-monthly basis.

Sasser is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Pay ranges are assigned to a job based on market data according to 3rd party salary benchmarking surveys. Actual base salary is dependent upon factors such as knowledge, skill level, and experience.
