Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk I

Overview:

FPM Remediations, Inc, a growing nationwide environmental remediations services firm, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work at our headquarters office in Oneida, NY. The successful candidate will work closely with technical professionals, managers, and accounting personnel to facilitate workflow. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a highly dynamic and professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support or lead desktop publishing and printing of business communications, technical reports, proposals, presentations, or other publications.
  • Perform accounting tasks in support of our Accounts Receivable Specialist or Accounts Payable Specialist.
  • Perform contract administration tasks in support of our Contract Administrator.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple office administration or project support assignments in a timely manner.
  • Proactively organize and take inventory of office supply stock; order supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage the operation and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and employees: answering phones; processing incoming/outgoing mail; making travel arrangements; greeting visitors; arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.

Education and/or Experience:

* Bachelor's degree is preferred; applicable experience may be substituted for degree.
* One year of experience providing administrative duties within a service-related firm is preferred, but not necessary.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail with great organizational skills.
  • Versatile office experience and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Integrity and confidentiality under any circumstance or situation.

Wage:

Hiring Hourly Range : $18 - $22 ( Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)

This is a full-time position that offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, vision and dental coverage plans, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, a tuition reimbursement program, and paid sick leave, holidays and vacation.
