The Full Desk Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening, and hiring dental professionals for direct-hire, temporary staff positions while also maintaining close and productive relationships with CDS clients. You will source and screen top talent using industry recruiting methods, interviewing techniques, and knowledge of the dental industry. In this role it is critical to build and maintain strong relationships with the decision makers to understand their staffing needs and company culture.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Client Services


  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and business goals
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Present candidates and candidate story to clients and coordinate on-site candidate interviews with clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends and salary benchmarks to advise clients and candidates effectively


Recruiting


  • Use sourcing recruiting strategies and techniques to identify active and passive qualified candidates through various recruiting resources and tools including advertising programs (internal and external), cold calls, and other referral strategies and manage social media presence to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, professional networking events, targeted search strategies, etc. to find top talent in the dental space
  • Manage job postings for all assigned clients, including writing engaging job advertisements, managing job postings on different platforms, and seeking out niche job boards for tough-to-fill positions
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone, video, or in-person), verify appropriate licensing and make recommendations regarding hiring decisions
  • Prepare and present job offers, negotiate salaries, and communicate employment terms to candidates to ensure successful placement and/or assignment
  • Manage candidates and maintain communication through the application, onboarding, and credentialing process, ensuring candidate has a positive experience by providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance and application/resume retention policy
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of candidates and requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Collaborate with internal departments on contractor time tracking and communicating and enforcing CDS policy
  • Participates in retention efforts for all staff
  • All other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Preferred Experience and/or Education


  • Associate's degree, preferably in human resources or relatable business degree
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices
  • Competitive, energetic, and self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage client relationships
  • The ability to recruit and sell on a regional/national basis
  • Experience in using current cutting-edge methodologies to proactively source candidates
  • 1-3 years Recruiting experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


  • This position is full-time.
  • Typical workdays are Monday through Friday and the hours are flexible along with a hybrid work environment


Work Environment


  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. This role routinely uses equipment such as computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
