TDX Holdings is recruiting for the position of Human Resources (HR) Director. This is a regular full-time position located in Anchorage, AK. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for development, deployment and oversight of Human Resources processes and initiatives throughout the Company. Responsible for the Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning, Compensation, Recognition, Labor Relations, Benefits, Employee Relations, and Communication programs. The Director of Human Resources is charged with supporting and driving the growth of the organization by developing HR processes and practices in line with district activities. This individual will interface with managers on human capital initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead and manage the Human Resources function including leadership and management development, recruiting and staffing, on-boarding, succession planning, rewards and recognition, employee relations, performance management, communications, administration, and training.
  • Consults with management to facilitate initiatives that support employee performance, engagement and retention while maximizing organizational effectiveness.
  • Deploy an integrated strategy which includes organizational, executive and leadership development, succession planning, talent management and learning strategies. Build leadership capability from senior executives to frontline leaders focused on results.
  • Create and implement development and staffing programs that drive functional leadership, ensure that the right people are being hired for key positions and that the current staff is receiving the appropriate development. Identify, assess, and develop solutions to retain employees.
  • Develop a recruiting plan which identifies the number of individuals to be hired, the types of skills, characteristics and personality, the sources and the leadership assistance required for recruiting.
  • Develop and support an effective on-boarding process for multiple audiences ensuring that the messages are consistent across the organization for newly acquired employees and that the on-boarding process increases the retention of employees.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all levels of employees. Cultivate favorable employee relations and achievement of business goals through the use of performance management tools and processes, reward and recognition systems and resolution of employee issues.
  • Works with all levels of management and employees to ensure timely and effective resolution of HR and management issues including highly sensitive employee matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory agency regulations and requirements, i.e., Department of Labor (DOL), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). direct benefit administration, effective communication regarding company benefits programs.
  • Ensure that all administrative efforts within HR are effective and efficient.
  • Ensure corporate HR programs, procedures and policies are implemented to fulfill both organizational needs and corporate requirements.
  • Work with Senior Management in creating an environment of expectation and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and ethical practice. Maintain a strong culture of performance and meritocracy.
  • Create progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives, and rewards for effective performance.
  • Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets.
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the corporation, including programs for employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment prevention, employee complaints, external education, and career development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 10 years of broad-based human resource generalist experience including staffing/recruiting, retention, employee relations, compensation, performance management, safety, and benefits.
  • Experience and/or in-depth knowledge of HR functional disciplines; employee relations, staffing, compensation/benefits, organizational development, training, and management/employee development.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits to include Service Contract Act and Davis Bacon Act fringe allocations.
  • Experience with leading and responding to HR related audits (5500, DOL, etc.).
  • Practical experience providing formal/informal executive coaching and development in all areas of leadership, experience with developing and implementing talent management review, assessment, and development processes.
  • Understanding of current federal, state, local and case law changes, and the ability to monitor law updates that affect human resources.
  • Ability to integrate HR and business strategies.
  • Strong Organizational development (including diagnosis and design) and change management skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a MS Windows environment to include excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational skills, and ability to lead and manage staff.
