Responsibilities

As our Clinical Director, you'll be the captain of our clinical ship, steering all aspects of clinical operations, programming, and treatment services at your assigned program. You'll collaborate with our Chief Clinical Officer and the National Clinical Team to protect and enhance the Newport Healthcare brand while focusing on safety, quality of care, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do:

  • Talent Scout Extraordinaire: Interview, select, and onboard new clinicians, ensuring they're equipped with the tools they need to shine in their roles!
  • Training Champion: Collaborate with the national clinical team to provide exciting and relevant clinical training for our team members.
  • Caseload Wizard: Assign caseloads like a pro, ensuring all clients and families receive top-notch therapeutic services while maximizing our clinical team's potential.
  • Program Innovator: Develop, implement, and periodically review our clinical program schedule to keep it fresh, engaging, and compliant with all regulations.
  • Team Cheerleader: Facilitate treatment team meetings, individual and group supervision, and ongoing clinical training-let's keep the energy high!
  • Admissions Guru: Oversee the onsite admission process, making final approvals and coordinating with the Admissions Department to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
  • Client & Family Advocate: Focus on enhancing client and family experiences through consistent communication and support-because they matter!
  • Crisis Management Hero: Be the go-to for managing emerging crisis situations in the milieu and provide clinical backup on-call when needed.
  • Discharge Coordinator: Work closely with the treatment team and involve parents as needed in ACA/AMA and administrative discharges.
  • Quality Assurance Leader: Drive quality assurance efforts and improvement initiatives to ensure we're always at our best.
  • Chart Auditor: Audit medical charts monthly to ensure clinical documentation meets top-notch standards, addressing any deficiencies with a supportive approach.
  • Family Support Enthusiast: Support Family Therapists in facilitating Saturday Family Program support groups and engaging psychoeducational presentations.

Qualifications

Compensation for this role ranges from $98,786 - $148,267 annually, depending on education and experience.

We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
  • Licensed in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
  • Two years or more of relevant clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and families, with mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring disordered populations.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a residential setting.
  • Minimum of one-year supervisor experience.
