Gundersen Health System is looking to add a part-time driver to our team of 4 who provide non-emergency transportation for discharged patients from Gundersen to their homes and/or nursing homes.

What You'll Do:

As a Driver, you will provide non-emergency transportation for patient discharges from Gundersen to their home or nursing home. You will be responsible for providing safe transportation of patients via wheelchair van including loading, securing, and unloading while utilizing company supplied smart phone and tablet for dispatch, navigation and proper documentation of trip records.

What's Available:

  • Part time, 32 hours biweekly (0.4 FTE) - non-benefit eligible

  • Shifts will be 9a-5p either Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday

  • Starting pay of $15.83/hr and up, based on your years of experience

What You'll Need:

  • Valid driver's license in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa

  • Basic Red Cross or equivalent training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 60 days of hire

  • Customer service skills with demonstrated ability to show courtesy and respect to all clients, patients, caregivers, facility staff persons, and other drivers

  • Prior work experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is desired
