Crissair is looking for an experienced CNC Machinists with prior lathe machining experience for 1st or 2nd shift.

Summary

Assists in CNC Lathe setup to produce precision aerospace parts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.

* Put parts in idle machines.

* Tend machine to ensure continued production.

* Inspect quality of work using hand tools, optical comparators, and mold compounds.

* Create and edit manual data input (MDI) machine tool code at the machine control.

* Make offsets to adjust machines as needed.

* Generate and document SPC data as required.

* Setup machines

* Assist operators and trainees in learning proper shop procedures.

* Seek and document lean process improvement ideas.

Qualification Requirements

Education/Experience

* High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and six months to a year related experience or training.

Language Skills

* Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to write in simple correspondence.

* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees.

Math Skills

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Skills

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.

* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer/ Technical/Office Skills

* Basic windows/internet browser

* ERP/Inventory

* Blueprint Reading

* Strong Mechanical Aptitude

* OCP Certification
