Covia is looking for a dynamic Financial Planning & Analysis Intern who will have a positive impact on the FP&A Team at its Independence, Ohio location. As a FP&A Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and participate in monthly close analysis, KPI reporting, and various strategic business decisions.

The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:



  • Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information in reports
  • Assist in creating and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that support decision-making processes
  • Support annual strategic planning process
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required by management


The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:



  • Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field of study from an accredited university
  • Interested in developing a career in finance
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to think logically and communicate ideas with others
  • Willingness to interact and thrive in a diverse group dynamic
