About the Role

Parametrix is offering an outstanding career opportunity for a Bridge & Structures Leader to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah.

You will join our transportation group and collaboratively support our market strategy, provide mentorship, and offer technical guidance. Our Bridge & Structures team plays a crucial role in enhancing our transportation infrastructure by supporting clients in planning, designing, building, evaluating, inspecting and maintaining bridges, highway structures, and other specialized constructions. We are working on critical infrastructure such as the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program on the state border of Oregon and Washington and other highway and corridor projects across the western United States.

You will join our Southwest region, focused on the Utah market, and collaborate with our bridge and structures team members across the company.

You Will:

  • Focus on business development and client management and contribute to technical work at either a Project Manager (PM) or Principal-in-Charge (PIC) level, depending on client requirements and project needs.
  • Lead and cultivate client relationships with state and local agencies, municipalities, tribes, private sector entities, and teaming partners.
  • Identify opportunities, participate in pre-positioning with clients, and develop compelling proposals to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and Project Managers (PMs) to expand the Bridge & Structures team, aligning efforts with regional and companywide strategic goals.

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience and demonstrated leadership in the A/E industry, with a specialization in bridge & structures. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah required. Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Established professional relationships with important regional clients.
  • Strong skills in communication, leadership, project management, and staff development.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $150,000-$190,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
