Makes rounds through production and processing areas of the facility to verify Halperns' GPM's. Assists and trains personnel. Completes daily assigned tasks. Essential Functions: Verifies HACCP monitoring. Completes daily equipment verification for metal detection, scales, thermometers, and chemical dilution/strength. Maintains Operational Sanitation for facility. Assures facility GMP's are implemented and followed by all employees. Performs group and individual training. Organizes and files related documents. Knowledge / Skills / Expertise: Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from -10 to 45 F for extended periods of time. Good written and oral communication. Effective time management to accomplish all of the day's assigned tasks. Should be extremely thorough and detail-oriented Basic computer skills preferred. Food Science certification or similar degree in a related field is preferred. HACCP trained or certified preferred. Safety training for warehouse machinery and PPE preferred.
