About the role

Reworld is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our Thermomechanical Treatment Facility in Newark, New Jersey. This role will be key to our transformational journey, guiding HR practices and supporting the growth of our workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Advise facility managers on employee relations, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, partnering with managers to identify workforce needs and implement cost-effective strategies.
  • Build relationships with local agencies, universities, and vocational schools to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.
  • Provide HR support in compensation, compliance, talent development, succession planning, performance management, and retention.
  • Implement corporate HR initiatives and communicate company policies.
  • Foster a positive employee relations environment, balancing business and employee needs.
  • Model safety leadership and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Five (+) years of HR experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and progressive HR practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Preferred:

  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Experience with Workday and Lean Principles
