The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for the administration, delivery, and coordination of all payroll responsibilities across Haemonetics US/Canada, and remote locations; will work closely with Senior Manager, Global Payroll, and drive for total Human Resource compliance. In addition, will review current processes and procedures and will make recommendations to ensure alignment with company goals/initiatives. This will be a Hybrid (2 days per week) role located in Downtown Boston next to South Station.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Monitoring and coordinating the efficient operation of the time and attendance system, monthly payroll generation, process personnel actions such as new hires, termination, compensation changes, benefits enrollment, as well as liaising with regional managers across Haemonetics, North American region.

  • Independently completes record management processes, prepares payroll accounting documents, and develops reports for senior management.

  • Project management of payroll systems implementation/upgrades, payroll process improvements, policies, and procedures that comply with regional laws, and regulations.

  • Ensures that all statutory regulations and payments to third parties including regulatory and taxing bodies are in compliance with regional law.

  • Serves as the regional point of contact for vendors, controllers, regulators, regional managers, and workers counsels and liaises with outside tax representatives, controllers, and country or regional accounting for guidance. Contributes to the development of accounting schedules.

  • Independently manages regional reconciliation and contributes to internal audits tasks assigned. Performs regulatory tax research on payroll tax compliance and best practices, and improved, efficient tactics for handling complex transactions.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years Experience as a Payroll Analyst with Canada & US payroll experience, handling complete payroll process and statutory submission and procedures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data

  • Meet key deliverables and reports accurately within time deadlines

  • Provide effective services and delivery of accurate data and/or information in all reports

  • Systems knowledge and user skills in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Excel application
