Job Description Rare opportunity for a high performing individual who is looking to excel in a collaborative science driven organization. The Director of North America Commercial Field Training - Heme is responsible for leading the training efforts for Vertex's hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia) commercial therapeutic area. This individual will lead a team of trainers focused on delivering disease, product, and competency-based training across multiple field teams in the US. The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of pharmaceutical training experience and scientific aptitude that will enable them to lead through application of learning best practices and subject matter expertise. The individual must be a strong collaborator able to work cross-functionally within the Heme Commercial Team (Sales, Marketing, Patient Experience and Customer Operations, and Market Access) and across the broader organization (Medical Affairs, HR, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance teams). #LI-BW1 Pay Range: $191,700 - $287,600Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
