Summary Working at CGS Administrators
CGS Administrators provides a variety of services, under contracts with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for beneficiaries, health care providers, and medical equipment suppliers in 33 states, supporting the needs of more than 20 million Medicare beneficiaries nationwide.

Manage and issue access for Medicare systems for CMS. Mostly mainframe (no active directory) dealing with government systems. Looking at access making sure it is correct and issuing access. Description

Position Purpose:

Under direct supervision, assist in and become proficient in the responsibilities of identity management for user accounts and protection of system resources. Provide administration support for enterprise system access. Setup, maintain and terminate system access on multiple security architectures and within multiple secure applications. Ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Work Environment: Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.

What you'll do

  • Learn requirements to support and complete requests to create, modify, delete, maintain, and monitor system access identification for systems and platforms such as email systems, Active Directory Domains, cloud platforms, mainframe systems via Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) , enterprise applications and subsystems, remote access, web browsing, and/or application-level security databases. Assist in the review, verification, and implementation of security requests.

  • Perform system access reviews to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and standards. Participate in related project work as needed such as documentation of work, process implementations and procedure updating.

  • Create and/or review data access reports to research service requests or issues. May also be asked to review reports to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's in a job-related field OR

  • 4 years job related work experience OR

  • Associate's and 2 years job related work experience

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to gain knowledge of IT security systems and concepts, LAN access control systems, enterprise server and LAN applications and subsystems, and user administration on single platforms.

  • Ability to acquire knowledge for multiple platforms.

  • Able to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies.

  • Able to acquire knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems as they relate to customer and governmental regulatory requirements.

Required Software and Other Tools:

  • Standard office equipment.

We Prefer That You Have:

  • 2 years of mainframe technical experience

  • Effectively write a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP),

  • Mainframe Tools Experience in (or willingness to learn)

  • Medicare experience
