Ask your recruiter about our new market leading rates, and our competitive sign on up to $5000 Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center Shift Available: (24 Hours/Weekly) 7p-7a Medicine Stepdown/Intermediate 7W unit consists of 27 beds, 11 Step Down and 16 Med Surg beds.Medicine Stepdown/Intermediate unit is looking for motivated, compassionate, and disciplined nurses craving a stimulating, learning experience, and a strong team environment! This unit cares for a variety of both lower acuity and complex critically ill patients with multifaceted disease processes requiring higher level of care and closer monitoring. The Medicine Stepdown/Intermediate unit offers a challenging environment where you can develop and enhance your complex nursing skills while making a significant impact on your community! General Description: Under general supervision, provides preventative and health care to an assigned group of patients or clients in the OU Health facility. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of educational requirements for NCLEX-PN examination. Experience: None required. One or more years of experience preferred. Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Current LPN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact LPN License (eNLC).
