The Department/Team The Trading Technology Department consists of 25 technologists across development, quality assurance and DevOps teams. We are a full stack team providing all technology required by FRM's global trading operations. These trading operations include the portfolio management, trading, and trade operations teams. Our systems include financial mathematics to calculate risk, order management and routing systems to send orders, market data, reporting, and trade reconciliation for a wide variety of financial instruments traded around the world. What You Will Do The Intern Software Developer will work with other developers on the team in the creation of trading and risk systems which are used on a global basis. In this role, you will participate in our agile processes, work on production systems with senior developers and be assigned a project in the area of support tools for our system. The person in this role will be able to take on responsibilities only limited by their abilities and will be able to work with a fair degree of independence. The ability to work and communicate clearly with other technical and non-technical team members including traders is a must. Qualifications Required:

Compensation The salary range for this role is $21-$35 per hour depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Chicago, IL on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered.
