Job Summary The Accounts Payable Validator is responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing corporate accounts payable invoices. This role also involves researching problem invoices, PO issues, and ensuring vendor account accuracy. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Daily
- Review and validate invoice batches, including Corporate AP and Capex vouchers, expense reports, credit memos, and intercompany invoices.
- Assist with invoice corrections, work with PO issues, supplier site errors, and any issues preventing invoices from being fully processed.
- Monitor the corporate inbox, route requests, resolve inquiries, and follow up.
- Assist in entering and processing invoice overflow and assigned accounts.
Weekly/As Needed:
- Monitor SharePoint folders for invoice processing.
- Assist with void check requests, including review and follow-up.
- Assist with returned ACHs, including review and follow-up.
- Maintain vendor information, including address, banking information, or payment change updates.
- Import various electronic invoices.
- Assist with Audit requests.
- Assist in month-end closing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2+ years of accounts payable experience in industry or public accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with Oracle accounting systems desired.
- Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
- Highly organized with superior time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Ability to work well with all levels of the corporation.
