We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us!We are looking for a Project Manager (PM) intern to join our team and help us with various tasks related to project management. You will work under the supervision of our Project Management team and learn how to collect project requirements, connect with key leaders to update project information, draft reports, update documentation, and support our staff with their PM needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: a. Assisting in coordinating various projects, including creating project plans and schedules. b. Tracking project progress and updating stakeholders. c. Assisting in documenting project deliverables d. Coordinate meetings with project teams and key stakeholders e. Coordinate collection and dissemination of requirements and related information with various teams and partners. f. Track project deliverables and update necessary project status documentation for the project management office. g. Draft needed documentation and PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders. 2. Project Reporting: a. Assisting with collecting routine updates for active projects. b. Enter updates in the project management software. c. Learn what information is important to include in reports 3. Collect Project Requirements: a. Participate in discovery sessions including a PM and key leader b. Learn what questions to ask in order to scope a project c. Assisting in coordinating discovery meetings Requirements: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to understand the requirements and communicate technical and business concepts to diverse audiences. * Good program management, including time management and change management skills - ability to work in an agile environment with a quick turnaround. * Multi-tasking self-starter who can make good decisions and has the drive to manage across multiple timelines and deliverables. * High degree of quality project output and precision. * Ability to operate with flexibility and a creative solutions mindset. * Must be able to take a diplomatic approach when issues within project teams arise. * Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. * Use analytical skills to solve problems that arise in projects. If a solution cannot be identified, be able to put various options together for the stakeholders to understand options and next steps. * Must be able to think critically.
