Systems Integration Developer

ARES Corporation is seeking motivated individuals familiar with NASA systems engineering and program management processes as applied to schedule integration to provide tool development for the excel-based Artemis Schedule Integration Tool (ASIT). The ASIT system is a custom NASA scheduling environment that is designed to allow teams to build schedules at any level and connect them together using an on-line catalog.

Responsibilities:

Duties would include, but are not limited to,

* Provide development support for the ASIT web application as required including code development as new features are added

* Perform system regression testing as well as testing required for new feature development

* Provide test reports and suggestions to the Lead developer

* Provide support to troubleshooting efforts including coordinating with users and developing fixes as required

* Assist with the development and maintenance of the ASIT Desktop tool set (Excel and Visual Basic for Applications) and compatibility with the ASIT web application

* Assist in managing the ASIT web page content and related information throughout the web site

* Assist with the creation of ASIT accounts and profile settings for users

* Provide ad-hoc help and expertise for users of the platform

* Provide customer support

Minimum Requirements:

*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and target clear and concise message to the appropriate audience.

*Experience communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences

*Attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment

*Five or more years of experience with web design, web application and/or desktop application development, SQL databases, and application frameworks.

*Experience with NodeJS/Express server development and HTML and CSS

*Proficiency with utilizing the Git version control system within the context of web development projects

*Previous knowledge of ASIT is not a requirement for this position.

*This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in arms Regulations and must be staffed by a person meeting the definition of a U.S. person under 22 CFR 120.15.

Preferred Qualifications:

*BS degree

*4 to 6 years of experience in an engineering discipline such as industrial, civil, aviation, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, nuclear, chemical, information, computer, software, marine, environmental, telecommunications, information security, network, or other engineering disciplines.

*Applications (VBA) and Microsoft Excel highly desired Experience with cloud environments and containerization deployment
