Genesis10 is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for our client in the Mortgage Industry. This is a Contract opportunity which is 100% remote. However, someone in DFW would be preferred so they can meet with the team every 6 - 8 weeks onsite.

Rate $55.00ph - $65.00ph DOE

We are seeking to fill the role of Business Systems Analyst. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with clients, industry partners and internal teams to maximize outcomes for homeowners.


  • Analyze system usage and provide management with recommendations for best practices
  • Develop and present actionable recommendations for best practices to management, aligning with organizational goals and financial industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in planning and implementing a new document management system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Maintain security templates for core servicing system, including periodic reviews
  • Provide escalated technical support to the user base of the servicing system
  • Responsible to gather business requirements from key stakeholders and translate into technical requirements
  • Develop business requirements for scripting automation
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and the business, fostering strong relationships to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist with investigating and troubleshooting system issues, implementing timely resolutions and documenting root causes for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and correct systems issues as needed
  • Provide timely updates on project statuses and system changes to stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Assist with product evaluations and new products/technologies
  • Provide liaison support with vendors and the business as needed
  • Communicate implementation schedule, downtime, and issues to the users
  • Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent technical leadership skills and the ability to organize and motivate others
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and research and resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed business requirements for scripting automation, enhancing system capabilities and reducing manual processes.
  • Design and test automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.


Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of technical work experience within the mortgage servicing or mortgage banking industry preferred
