The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the delivery of technology solutions to achieve targeted business outcomes. This role involves program strategy, planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder management across multiple business areas such as HR, Sales, IT, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Care.

The Program Manager will report to the IT Director - Project and Portfolio Management, collaborating with Product Directors and Delivery Managers to ensure alignment, progress, and successful delivery of objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Strategy and Leadership
  • Define, maintain, and track program objectives, roadmaps, and success measures.
  • Collaborate with Product Directors, IT leaders, and business partners to align projects with business outcomes.
  • Manage staffing for projects, including internal and external resources.
  • Lead vendor selection, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Guide and coach Delivery Managers to ensure deliverables align with program objectives.
  • Foster team collaboration, motivation, and alignment.
Program Planning and Execution
  • Drive innovative approaches to delivering services, business models, and strategies through technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Technical Leads to analyze and recommend solutions.
  • Manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Track progress against plans and budgets, ensuring timely and concise communication.
Program Governance
  • Facilitate governance and escalation processes.
  • Manage program budgets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to governance standards and compliance requirements.

Technical Competencies

  • Expertise in program, project, and portfolio management across multiple methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational change management and hybrid project management methodologies.

Leadership Skills

  • Minimal supervision required; provides training and mentorship to team members.
  • Adaptable leadership styles based on situational needs.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to engage with C-suite executives.

Education and Experience

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of IT and industry experience, with 10+ years managing large, complex programs.
  • Experience in large ERP rollouts and SAP integrations preferred.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is required.
