The Pipeline Operator 2 (Crude), working under general supervision, is responsible for conducting routine activities based on maintenance plans and monitoring digging and boring in and around lines ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of the pipeline system. The role performs periodic visual inspections, provides equipment changes to the master data team, and monitors real-time surveillance of pipeline systems. The role operates lines in compliance with regulatory permits and maintains compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The role provides timely and accurate information on emergency events to the technical services foreman and coordinates with chemical tech to ensure internal pipeline protection is sufficient. The role recognizes, analyzes, and resolves complex problems related to pipeline maintenance and operations, taking corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, contributing to operational efficiency and safety.

* Conducts routine activities based on maintenance plans, monitors digging and boring in and around lines, conducting line crossing inspections, ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of the pipeline system.
* Provides any equipment changes to the master data team to keep records accurate and keep pipeline map data current with GIS, ensuring accuracy in mapping systems.
* Performs periodic visual inspections of lines to identify and address any anomalies or potential maintenance needs. Maintains the pigging schedule, overseeing and coordinating pigging activities for pipeline integrity.
* Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, with strong support from the OKC staff. Operate lines in compliance with all regulatory permits or Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, maintaining adherence to industry standards.
* Provides timely and accurate information on emergency events to the technical services foreman, contributing to effective emergency response efforts.
* Monitors real-time surveillance of pipeline systems including pressures, volumes, and overall system balances on a regular basis to ensure optimal pipeline performance and identify potential issues. Ensures accurate and complete documentation of all operational activities, including log entries and incident reports.
* Performs corrective tasks based on work orders, including overseeing vendor performance and ensuring timely completion and adherence to established standards and safety protocols.
* Coordinates with chemical tech to ensure internal pipeline protection is sufficient, oversee measures for external pipeline protection, and works collaboratively with production staff to troubleshoot areas of concern related to restrictions and obstructions, addressing operational issues promptly.
* Works under supervision to assist in moderately complex oversight tasks related to pipeline operations and maintenance, including developing and implementing SOPs, prioritizing projects, and making recommendations for optimization of maintenance operations.
* Recognizes, analyzes, and resolves complex problems related to pipeline maintenance and operations, taking corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, contributing to operational efficiency and safety.
* Promotes a safe work environment and actively support and participate in the company's Safety Awareness For Everyone (SAFE) program, encouraging a culture of safety among the team. Possesses the right and obligation to stop work in unsafe conditions, contributing to a safe and secure working environment for all personnel.

Education:
* High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
Experience:
* 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in areas such as Pipeline Inspections, Operations, and Maintenance or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.

Certifications:
* Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certifications (preferred)
* DOT Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) (preferred)
* API 1169 Pipeline Inspector Certification (preferred)
