Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Design and implement preventative and detective regulatory controls and subsequent uplifts to meet regulatory expectations and requirements across Americas, Asia and EMEA. Oversee post-implementation monitoring and conduct follow-ups, data analysis and investigations. Establish governance framework that outline standards of developing, implementing, and maintaining controls to mitigate regulatory risk, such as regression test, ongoing monitoring and alerting workflow, controls registration and periodic review, and associated documentations. Monitor cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders across Sales and Trading, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Operations teams globally to identify requirements gaps, controls solutions and operating model. Participate in and contribute to internal governance and controls forums and provide updates to senior management across various areas of the firms. Handle regulatory exams and inquiries, internal audits, and compliance testing reviews. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant field such as Political Science or Public Administration and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with the following: experience with Americas, Asia and EMEA securities and banking markets, including bespoke financial instruments and solutions, transaction workflows, trade lifecycle and operating system and architecture; challenging existing controls processes, identifying gaps, synthesizing complex information, providing recommendations and solutions across different jurisdictions via preventative, detective, or remedial action plans; data analytics and investigation work across public (Sales and Trading) and private (Banking) sectors, covering businesses ranging from listed or over-the-counter products to corporate solutions; regulatory exams and inquiries, internal audits, and compliance testing reviews; foreign exchange, interest rate products, order routing and trading system for program trading, and counterparty account details repository; and experience with booking system for credit, swap, mortgage, commodities, and equities products.
