Landscape Technician

Do you possess previous grounds maintenance experience and are actively searching for a new direct-hire opportunity? Advantage xPO, in collaboration with our client in Greensburg, IN, is seeking a new Landscape Technician to maintain roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during the snow season in a commercial environment.

Pay: $17-$20 per hour

1st Shift Hours: This is an on-call as-needed position

Essential Functions:

• Operate and maintain landscape equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers, efficiently and safely.
• Remove debris and perform weed control.
• Communicate effectively and cooperate with supervisors, clients, etc.
• Perform snow removal services at multiple locations.
• Complete seasonal activities, such as mulching and winter assignments, efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 0-2 years of experience using landscape maintenance equipment.
• A valid drivers license.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write routine reports and correspondence, and effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
• Capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and lifting 80 pounds.
