What success looks like in this role:

* Provides architectural support and advice within a defined technology, system or structural area.
* Leverages technical and business understanding and experience to play a key role in Enterprise, Data or Systems Architecture, as summarized below.

* Participates in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives.
* Assists with the development of frameworks, standards, policies, principles and procedures that guide technology decisions and maximize the reuse of technology.
* Helps drive consistency and automation through the implementation of technologies and tools.
* Helps drive best practice decisions on software development, coding, performance tuning and integration.
* Contributes to the definition of processes, standards and technologies / frameworks.
* Facilitates technical design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and consistency across the organization.

* Supports team efforts to define, develop and implement business / user-focused data structures and related management systems.
* Creates data monitoring models for various business / product areas.
* Develops database design and architectural documentation in support of departmental initiatives and programs.
* Works with software, related technical and other relevant stakeholders to ensure maintenance of data integrity and security.
* Supports the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
* May monitor system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features.

* Defines and contributes to the development of key aspects of company systems architecture, working with technical colleagues to articulate principles, system constraints and qualities to help devise elegant operational solutions.
* Adds to the planning and development of the architectural runway in support of new features and capabilities.
* Works with product and solution management to determine capacity allocation for enablement work.
* Engages with cross-functional partners and colleagues on:
o Pre- and post-program increment planning,
o 'Architecture sync',
o Solution capabilities demonstration, and
o Release management,
* Alignment of technologies across initiatives, programs and projects.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
