About Us The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is an independent nonprofit organization authorized by Congress in 2010. Its mission is to fund research that will provide patients, their caregivers and clinicians with the evidence-based information needed to make better-informed healthcare decisions. Position Summary Under the direction of the Associate Director, Public Engagement, the Program Officer is responsible for strategic decision-making and high-level management of stakeholder engagement program activities that advance PCORI's Engagement mission. The primary responsibilities include providing intellectual and organizational leadership in designing and facilitating stakeholder community convenings and presentations for various stakeholder groups; strategic engagement of PCORI stakeholder communities including clinicians, payers, patients/patient advocates, and others; and. translating data into meaningful information for stakeholder communities. The Program Officer will lead stakeholder engagement efforts on key priority areas, working across business units at PCORI to ensure that stakeholder views are understood and inform PCORI directions. The Program Officer helps to match stakeholder priorities to PCORI funding opportunities, along with the development of Research Synthesis evidence products. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 The above range represents the salary range expected for the position; however, final offers are based on several factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may participate in PCORI-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
