Position: Staff Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Civil Site Group in our Indianapolis, IN office. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

This Staff Engineer will be expected to work with a Project Manager, Project Engineer, and other staff to drive the design on a variety of civil/site development projects. In this position you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver.



Responsibilities

    Design site layouts
  • Perform grading and drainage design
  • Assist with permitting of commercial and residential site development projects
  • Road and utility design
  • Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree
  • 2 or more years of experience in site development, grading and drainage design, and/or hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
  • 2 or more years of AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
