Essential Job Functions: The applicant shall be responsible for developing/drafting and coordinating formal correspondence such as reports, whitepapers, executive summaries, requests for information. The applicant shall develop strategic plans, briefings and programmatic documents in support of the Acquisition Life Cycle Process (process, planning, budget, test, logistics, program management, acquisition decisions and documentation). The applicant shall coordinate and facilitate, mission essential meetings and reviews; prepares briefings, agendas, data books, briefing slides or books, program schedules and timelines; assist with the scheduling of government facilities; arranges for the equipment required to support meetings and events; prepare & distribute minutes; develop and maintain action items matrixes for assigned actions addressed at the meetings, engagements and at the direction of the PM. The applicant shall plan, execute and develop materials for industry engagements (Industry days, Industry one-on-ones, podcasts, etc.) The applicant shall research current Government policies and guidance, to include the Department of Defense 5000 series; regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and relevant supplements; and local guidance. The applicant shall assess applicability, recommend implementation instructions and actions, and recommend creation or updates to local policy and procedures as it relates to current projects, taskers, issues, and concerns. The applicant shall review organizational leadership daily correspondence, recommend courses of action, and provide taskers to the appropriate organizational offices and other business groups and monitor tasker to completion. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Minimum of 3 years of prior military experience that includes leadership positions and/or operations staff experience at the Battalion level or higher. Minimum of 7 years of experience in the last 10 years coordinating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs with a background and knowledge of planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems experience). Acceptable experience is that which reflects a substantial role in all the required areas (planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking and reporting). 5 years' experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat. Program Management experience Graphic Design; Works with a wide range of media and graphic design software SharePoint/TEAMS site development and management / Data Management Experience working DoD Acquisition programs to include understanding of the Acquisition Life Cycle Process (ACAT I - IV) Thinks creatively and develops design concepts (Graphics and layouts) Experience developing formal DoD written correspondence Critical thinking |
