*Job Description*
We are seeking a Beacon Pharmacist consultant for a 6 month contract to assist with an Epic implementation. This consultant will ensure the system is set up correctly and functions smoothly. Responsibilities include analyzing current workflows, designing new ones that integrate with Epic Beacon, and configuring the system for oncology to set up medication protocols, order sets, and treatment plans. The consultant will also assist with testing and validation to resolve any issues prior to go-live, provide training and support to other pharmacy staff and healthcare providers on using Epic Beacon effectively, and help with data management to ensure smooth transfer from the old system. Preference is for the consultant to be onsite 3 days per month while Epic is onsite. The consultant may also assist with go-live support and optimization following the implementation. *Top Skills Details* * Epic certified *Work Environment* * Typically utilize Jira for 2-week sprints and daily stand-ups. * Most of the team is in the Central Time Zone, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
