Job Summary |
Under direct supervision performs set-ups, deliveries, cleaning and upkeep of academic buildings as directed. Regular schedule is M-F 2:30pm - 11:00pm, with some weekends and days as needed.

Salary Range |
($17.00-$18.00) This is the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary offered will depend on a candidate's experience and education, and departmental budget. |
Essential Functions |
- Complete routine and special set-ups and take-downs throughout campus.
- Moves furniture as directed.
- Receive outside delivers and disperses according to direction.
- Performs custodial duties throughout the campus. Arrange classrooms, clean and restock lavatories as required.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Maintains service equipment, and make sure it is in good repair and used properly.
- Shovel snow and de-ice steps and walks as directed.
- Report equipment and items in buildings that require repair.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Complete assigned work orders - ability to open, close and generate work orders.
- Supports mission, vision and values.
- Interface with work order and scheduling software to get updated information for daily tasks.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Ability to perform actions of climbing stairs and ladders. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- Technology competence
- Ability to pass criminal background check.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
- Ability to work independently, and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to solve problems that arise during the evening shift.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements |
Employee is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions (temperatures varying from below 32 degrees to over 90 degrees) for periods of over one hour, subject to hazards such as proximity to moving parts, electrical current, etc., and involves heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly in order to move objects. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift 50 pounds. Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, as required. |
