Position is based in Fresno or Bakersfield, CA. Candidate MUST live in either location.

As a Clinical Outreach Specialist, you will be the trusted resource in your professional community, responsible for fostering relationships and ensuring comprehensive care coordination for our clients and their families. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the overall experience and outcomes for those we serve!

What You'll Do:

  • Strategize for Success: Develop and execute quarterly and annual performance objectives tailored to your target market.
  • Build Connections: Identify key decision-makers, establish impactful relationships, and document your meaningful interactions in our contact database.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside a national team of professionals dedicated to transforming lives.
  • Engage the Community: Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers to uncover needs, tackle barriers to treatment, and forge valuable community partnerships.
  • Plan and Participate: Organize facility tours, professional weekends, and networking events to showcase Newport Healthcare's commitment to excellence.
  • Deliver Tailored Presentations: Customize presentations to resonate with your target audience and effectively communicate our mission.
  • Provide Exceptional Support: Respond promptly to service and referral inquiries, guiding professionals and families through the admission process with care and coordination.
  • Stay Connected: Participate in national and weekly team calls, and engage in quarterly field rides with the Senior Director of Clinical Outreach.
  • Manage with Integrity: Oversee expenses and company credit card tasks as directed, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to Assessments: If licensed, assist with client assessments, supporting our mission to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications

  • What You'll Need to Bring:
    • Educational Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a closely related field OR
      • Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in a behavioral health setting or pharmaceutical sales.
    • Communication Expertise:

      • Experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques specifically applicable to a healthcare environment.
    • Marketing Proficiency:

      • Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and delivering effective marketing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Customer-Centric Skills:

      • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience.
      • Proven track record in business development, including the ability to identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive growth within the behavioral health sector. This includes engaging with key stakeholders, understanding market dynamics, and effectively promoting services to expand the organization's reach
    • Sales/Business Development Experience

Salary is $105,000-$115,000 annually based on experience and education.
