Job Summary:

IEM is looking for a Full Time - Payment Processing Lead to join our growing team! Support data exchanges, communicate, triage, and resolve issues for payment disbursement transactions on a government-funded, state energy rebate program. Candidate must be ethical, analytical, attentive to detail, with good written and interpersonal communication skills. The program requires strict compliance with federal and state regulations and program policy.

Primary Location:

  • Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States, you will work remotely from home or personal office location
  • All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and assign out individual data services workload, productivity, and communications that enable accurate, efficient, and compliant processing of payment disbursements.
  • Understand program needs, policy, departmental process flows and standard operating procedures.
  • Obtain, consolidate, and maintain stakeholder information for payment disbursements.
  • Monitor scheduled, daily data exchanges, confirming correct completion and quality control. Undertake regular data management tasks to verify, clean and update data in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Review records for inconsistencies, investigate, and collaborate with external and internal partners to resolve issues with analysis and customer service skills. Where problems arise, log support issues, communicate, resolve and escalate according to defined standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and security compliance with finance industry standards and program guidelines.
  • Support the energy rebate programs through regular and ad-hoc analysis, investigation, audit and reporting.
  • Interface with all levels of staff, contribute to team success with effective communication and sound decision making, and suggest procedural improvements.
  • Respond to questions and requests professionally and in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Able to pass a thorough background investigation.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficient with Excel and able to learn new software applications.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of mortgage industry privacy regulations, requirements, restrictions, and best practices.
  • Able to work hard and have fun in a fast-paced environment with a diverse, remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rebates - specifically energy efficiency upgrades.
  • Familiarity with Finance terminology

  • Starting pay is based on location and experience. Salary range: $59,000/Year - $68,000/Year
