Overview

Position is responsible for managing all aspects of our Lynx technology relationship with our oncology and multi-specialty customers. The technology account manager develops, grows, and maintains his/ her territory relationships and coordinates and collaborates with various business units within the company to ensure client requests are handled swiftly and successfully.

The Lynx Technology Account Manager specifically manages the day to day relationship of territory clients in the support and use of the Lynx inventory management system. He/she demonstrates current knowledge of the application along with understanding of appropriate workflow and all necessary practice support.

The account manager actively participates in the implementation process of accounts in his/ her territory to help facilitate clear transition from implementation to account management and to contribute to the success of both the implementation and the overall adoption of Lynx and other McKesson technologies. The Lynx Technology Account Manager will also lead all large new-business implementations in his/ her region.

Supports and adheres to the McKesson Compliance Program, to include Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds and develops customer relationships, and works with Sales partners, network counterparts, and other internal teams to nurture and grow those relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a territory business plan to strategically manage his/ her territory.
  • Provides day to day support, including but not limited to, post go live support, training and re-training needs, workflow review and optimization, implementing and reinforcing best practices.
  • Lead all new-business large Lynx go-lives to ensure a successful project and smooth transition from implementation phase of project to account management.
  • Assist customers with resolution of issues in an accurate and timely manner, providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education
BS degree or equivalent experience in electronic system installation and troubleshooting

Critical Skills

  • 5+ years specific systems experience
  • Inventory management system knowledge and working experience, preferably with Lynx.
  • Knowledge and experience with healthcare operational, clinical or financial systems (i.e. practice management systems - Centricity; EHRs- iKnowMed; pharmacy inventory management systems - Lynx, Pyxis...etc)
  • Demonstrated outstanding communications skills (verbal, written and presentation skills). Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WebEx.
  • Familiarity with oncology or other medical specialty practice day-to-day operations.

Additional Skills

  • Excellent ability to build relationships, align and influence varied and diverse participants across all levels and functions to achieve requisite milestones

  • Strong organizational leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with tight and often competing deadlines

Travel

Up to 50% travel required

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$99,500 - $165,900
