We are seeking a Temporary Shipping Coordinator to join our team for a three month assignment. This individual will pull parts from the warehouse, package, transact the parts in ERP, and then coordinate the shipping process.


Responsibilities

  • Receiving materials into the spare parts warehouse and inventory management system.
  • Checking for damaged or missing materials versus delivery paperwork.
  • Sorting and placing materials onto racks or shelves.
  • Moving materials around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift / bendi truck.
  • Picking and packing orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Loading and sometimes delivering orders.
  • Performing warehouse inventory control via a warehouse scanner or computer.
  • Prepares and maintains paperwork records of orders shipped.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, covering goods inward, picking, packing, and shipping required. Forklift experience a plus.
  • Experience working with a computerized stock management system and computers and software preferred. Profieciency with MS Office applications strongly desired.
  • Able to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
