JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Women's Health and Exercise Laboratory (WHEL), within the Department of Kinesiology, seeks a qualified individual for the position of Research Technologist - Medical Sciences. The research in the WHEL explores the physiological underpinnings linking human metabolism, reproductive function, and bone physiology in the context of stressors such as exercise and caloric restriction.We are also working to understand the effects of whole foods on reducing bone loss in peri and postmenopausal women.Our work involves both female and male human research participants. The candidate will work under the direction of Professors Mary Jane De Souza and Nancy Williams, who Co-Direct the lab. Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Requirements: This position will be filled at the Intermediate or Advanced professional level depending on the final candidate's education and experience. Requires a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) or higher, plus one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience is required for higher-level positions.
